The hoopla surrounding 2020’s Marvel’s Avengers has been brewing for quite some time now. As more news regarding the superhero epic’s gameplay systems and playable roster hits the web, comic book enthusiasts and gamers alike are beginning to care about its release that much more.

On the matter of future DLC and microtranastions, the game’s developers have made it clear that new incoming heroes and regions will be completely free. The varied suite of costumes for each character can either be earned in game or by purchasing them separately with real money. Seeing as how the Marvel Universe and its collection of superheroes is so massive, there’s a ton of source material to reach from when it comes to including alternate outfits.

A few of the playable cast’s secondary attires have already been revealed and we’re sure there’s plenty of room for even more. These are our personal requests for the character costumes that would warm our geeky little hearts if they appeared in Marvel’s Avengers.

Infinity War Movie Costume - Captain America

One of the greatest scenes in Avengers: Infinity War was the initial reveal of Captain America’s new look. America’s first avenger came out of the shadows to reveal a scruffier look that perfectly encapsulated his hard-fought crusade against evil. The darker colored variant of his iconic costume made Cap look all the more cooler and menacing. We hope Marvel’s Avengers takes several cues from the ongoing MCU by adopting Captain America’s big screen fugitive attire from Infinity War. Getting access to those two vibranium shields may be asking for too much, but we’d love to get our hands on those too.

World War Armor - The Hulk

The Planet Hulk story arc was one of the green giant’s most memorable comic book runs. After being sent into outer space, The Hulk did the unthinkable: he managed to become the ruler of an alien planet. Once that planet came under attack, Bruce Banner’s alter ego went into a rage (no surprise there) and declared war on the people of Earth he held responsible for harming his people. During this crusade, The Hulk donned a badass piece of metal plating over his arm. And to compliment that, he also outfitted himself in brown boots and additional gear that made it clear that he was ready for war. That iconic Hulk battle armor is a a must for Marvel’s Avengers.

Armor Model 51 – Iron Man

Tony Stark’s closet is jam packed with all sorts of Iron Man armors. It’s a safe bet that his inclusion in Marvel’s Avengers will come with most of those memorable suits. One of the slickest pieces of armor that’d look awesome in action is the “Model 51,” an incredible design that appeared in the pages of Superior Iron Man. The form fitting armor adopts the hero’s classic color scheme while introducing a sleeker design template. Iron Man’s bulkier default costume is definitely one of our favorites, but we’d also like to hop into Tony Stark’s much slimmer “Model-Prime Armor.”

Ragnarok Movie Costume – Thor
The Asgardian God of Thunder went into full gladiator mode as he adopted a darker motif.

Ragnarok Movie Costume – Thor

Here’s another MCU-inspired piece of attire that would make for an awesome set of duds to wear in Marvel’s Avengers. The MCU film we’re inspired by for this costume is the one Thor was forced to wear during his clash against The Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok. The Asgardian God of Thunder went into full gladiator mode as he adopted a darker motif. Along with that change in appearance, Thor’s long flowing hair was replaced by a short hairdo that made him look like even more of a badass. As we’re flinging around Mjolnir at our foes and tapping into Thor’s thunderous abilities, we hope his Ragnarok suit can be worn amidst all the chaos. That red face paint better come along for the ride, too!

Fortnite Costume – Black Widow
We’re campaigning for Marvel’s Avengers to include cosmetic DLC from Epic Games’ battle-royale phenomenon.

Fortnite Costume – Black Widow

Miss Natalia Alianova Romanova doesn’t have a whole lot of alternate outfits to choose from for this list. Color changes will surely change up her in-game attire, which is fine and all. But if the nimble spy gets to don a costume that deviates from her regular suit, it needs to be the one that appeared in Fortnite. Yes, that’s right! We’re campaigning for Marvel’s Avengers to include cosmetic DLC from Epic Games’ battle-royale phenomenon. The Black Widow gear seen in that game eliminated her usual arm sleeves and gifted any female avatar that wore it with sick set of tights. The visible wrist gauntlets, logo-adorned tank top and additional arm wrap completed the slick costume set, which is something we’d gladly pay for once Marvel’s Avengers arrives.
