2019 has been massive for video game releases, and by no means is it over just yet. October alone is a big month for releases, and we've put together a list of the best titles to look out for in October 2019.

#1 WWE 2K20 - October 22nd

First up is a game that needs no introduction. WWE2K20 is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One. This year's installment introduces a brand new career mode and universe and has a closer focus on female wrestlers. If you want a shot at an indisputable title belt or want to throw someone over the ropes, then this ticks all of the boxes.

#2 Dusk Diver - October 24th

Dusk Diver arrives on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, bringing a world of anime to combine with action gameplay. Players familiar with Atlus or Spike Chunsoft titles will immediately recognize the type of gameplay style being used. The setting for Dusk Diver is based on the backstreets of Taipei, commonly being used in modern-day titles that have a Japan or U.S. feel.

#3 Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare - October 25th

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you'll know this is the big fish among the October 2019 releases. Coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC is the reboot that genuinely changed the way players imagined an FPS.

Most players who loved last year's CoD release will already be ready and waiting for Modern Warfare to launch. Other players who no longer play the series will also be hooked into this release if they played the original Modern Warfare titled in the past. Putting the campaign aside, which looks as realistic as a modern-day blockbuster, there is also a wealth of other modes players have grown to love. Not only that, but PS4 owners will also get access to the exclusive Spec Ops Survival mode for one year.

MediEvil - October 25th

#4 MediEvil - October 25th

Use your limbs combined with bows, swords, and axes as you show off your skelly skills in the PS1 classic remaster.

The Outer Worlds - October 25th

#5 The Outer Worlds - October 25th

The Outer Worlds was revealed at E3 2019 for Xbox One, PC and PS4, and the trailer wasn't too dissimilar to the look of Borderlands. October 2019 also saw Borderlands 3 release, which wasn't so great, and now The Outer Worlds has the opportunity to steal the RPG looter shooter spotlight. RPG seems to be more of the focus with the Outer World, with the loot and shoot cycle coming in as secondary. Some could argue that it appears to have elements that resemble that of Bioshock and Fallout, which isn't a bad thing. With that in mind, The Outer Worlds could well outshine Borderlands, considering there were too much looting and shooting, but not so much RPG.

That wraps up five of the best games for October 2019, are you picking any of them up? Let us know!
