But... mobile players will have to wait.

Following the launch of Google Stadia last month, we've had a sought-after feature added that'll allow players to challenge an achievement system.

What are Google Stadia achievements?

Google revealed the news of a Stadia achievement system via a tweet on its official Twitter account, stating, "Our achievement system is here." the guys behind the tech added, "and you will now receive notifications when playing on desktop, laptop, and TV. You can view your full achievement list on the web, including all the ones you've earned since you began playing Stadia."

Fortunately for those who have already been playing Stadia since launch day, Google hasn't forgotten about you. Google has been tracking your gaming activity, which will count towards your achievement progress, so you won't have to play the games all over again to gain more progress.

TechRadar unearthed a Google Stadia community update in which a rep from Google states this is the tech giant's "first version of achievements." Due to the fact that these achievements are only up and running on a Chrome Browser, it means that users of Stadia on mobile devices will need to "hang tight!" until the achievements system launches for mobile in 2020. It's not all bad news for mobile users, though. There's "more in store" for achievements in the coming months, Google says.

xenoverse

It suffices to say that Google Stadia got off to a rocky start, with Founders receiving their new Stadia tech and no invite keys to be able to use the new streaming platform. Borderlands 3 and Dragonball Xenoverse 2 are finally available on Stadia though, with a discount available on Borderlands 3 for those subscribing to the Pro version of the streaming service.

The two games, alongside Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is also available to purchase at full price as a standalone purchase on the Google Store. As yet, there has been no mention of whether cross-play is going to be supported for any of the currently available titles.
